Farewell to a friend

Late last year the Bimblebox Nature Refuge and the Bimblebox Art Project lost a close and supportive friend when Michael Foley passed away from a short and sudden illness.  His loss has been received with shock and great sadness, he is very much missed.  A committed, regular participant in the annual artist camps Foley was always ready to help out while working toward ways to bring positive change.  An artist and a writer he was also someone who could turn his hand to all things. Foley was a man who cared deeply, lived his life with great courage, integrity and honesty.

I am sharing with you Foley’s contribution to Bimblebox 153 Birds, Umbiquitous Bird…Geopelia placida, about the Peaceful Dove.  Words written and read by Michael Foley, Peaceful Dove bird call by musician Zelda Da, voice.  Audio compiled and edited by Boyd.

Thank you Foley, you are greatly missed.
