Christene Drewe of the State Library of Queensland and Jill Sampson, Bimblebox Art Project coordinator.

Since 2012 I’ve been collecting Bimblebox Art Project Ephemera.  Yesterday I took this into the State Library of Queensland and donated it into their collection.  This collection of catalogues, invitations, articles, signs, etc., will be available as cultural items that may be accessed by library visitors and researchers in the future.  The ephemera relates to the three exhibitions:  Document://Bimblebox, Bimblebox: art – science – nature and Bimblebox 153 Birds.  Also there are items that relate to the art, science and nature camps which have become annual events on the Bimblebox Nature Refuge with participants developing their own creative outcomes.  Of course I will keep collecting and adding to this particular public time capsule!

Thank you Christene Drewe for your important work as a  care taker for Queensland cultural memory.

  2. Thanks Gerald for your wonderful participation and support. Somehow I don’t think any of this will make a jot of difference at Uni. Still bogged down in credit application red tape…which a couple of weeks ago I thought had been pretty much sorted.
