Bimblebox art, science, nature camps

Those who have listened to the podcast already know that I will no longer be coordinating the call out and lead up to the Bimblebox art, science, nature camps. Thank you to John Brinnand and Malcolm Paterson who have stepped forward to take the baton. I’ve shared with John and Malcolm the pertinent material that I developed across many years and look forward to seeing this incredibly valuable and unique camp continue well into the future.

I wish to acknowledge and thank Paola Cassoni and Ian Hoch for their hard work and ongoing commitment to providing and maintaining the camp facilities, planning and cooking the camp meals, looking after everyone so well, and for their huge, ongoing work in caring for the Bimblebox Nature Refuge. I wish to thank The Bimblebox Alliance (TBA), and also the many volunteers who have helped with the camp. Thank you Paola and Ian for sharing Bimblebox with us all. And thank you to all the people who have attended the art, science, nature camps and who, through their words and work, have taken the gift of Bimblebox out into their communities and beyond.

To register your interest in attending future camps, or if you have any questions about the camps, or to reach out as a potential volunteer in the process of organising future camps, please get in touch with John and Malcolm via this email.

Currently the Bimblebox art, science, nature camp is scheduled to return in 2025. John and Malcolm encourage those interested in attending future camps to let them know via email. In turn they will start contacting everyone early next year to begin the process for the 2025 camp.
Meanwhile you can find information about the camp, as well as images and stories from previous camps here.
