Brownie Brass, Kelpie, Bimblebox expedition member.
Introducing the third member of the Alison Clouston & Boyd expedition to Bimblebox, Brownie Brass the Second, a 10 year-old Kelpie, an eye-dog with outstanding credentials in wildlife observation, honed in the Burragorang Valley on our private conservation bushland within the Greater Blue Mountains National Park and World Heritage Area. Departing the coast south of Sydney tomorrow, the expedition will journey through the Great Dividing Range and out across the vulnerable grassy woodlands of the interior of NSW, moving north towards Bimblebox over the week. Brownie Brass, named after the beloved Maori shepherd and shearer, is preparing for the trip by sleeping in the dust and hiding his bones for safe-keeping.
