Bimblebox 153 Birds is at the Gladstone Regional Art Gallery until 30 March, 2019

Opening weekend for Bimblebox 153 Birds in Gladstone was a fun, fabulous and very busy couple of days. It was great to meet members of the local community and also to meet Bimblebox 153 Birds artists and writers who I had previously only met via email.

Opening night speeches. Jill Sampson spoke for Bimblebox 153 Birds. Jen Conde of Migaloo Press for the exhibition Wetlanders, Kate Gorringe-Smith for her project Overwintering and Cr Natalie. MC for the evening was Bruce Hunt, President of Gladstone Regional Art Gallery and Museum Society.
